It has been said that the Beatles album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band could not be produced live, but more than 40 years after the album debuted it is making its way to Las Vegas thanks to Cheap Trick.
Cheap Trick has announced a Sgt. Pepper special at the Las Vegas Hilton in September. The band will be performing songs from the album, as well as other Beatles classics.

Cheap Trick has announced their 2010 summer tour dates! Your Cheap Trick tickets also mean you get to see some great supporting acts. Appearing on tour with the band for separate dates are Blondie and Squeeze. The concerts will consist of a 75 minute set from either band, in no particular order.
The tour kicks off tomorrow, April 14th for a sold out show in Solana, Calif., and continues all summer long ending September 3rd in Memphis, TN. Cheap Trick stops along the way in Orlando, Columbus, Boston, Philadelphia, Detroit, and Baltimore. For a complete listing of cities and dates, check out their official website.

Cheap Trick will tour 40 cities with Def Leppard and Poison from June to September 2009.
The show will feature three decades of music over four hours with a total of nearly 60 ‘Top 40’ hits.
“I’m very pleased that we are coming back to North America. We’re gonna be touring with some new friends and some old friends and can guarantee it will be the Rock Tour of the summer,” said Def Leppard front man Joe Elliott.

In 2008, Cheap Trick was featured in the John Varvatos Spring/Summer 2008 clothing ad campaign. On April 24th the band played live at the Budokan for the 30th Anniversary of their 1978 album “Live at Budokan.” During their concert on July 5th, Rick Neilsen announced to the crowd that the show was being recorded for a future CD and/or DVD release. Then on November 11th, the band released “At Budokan: 30th Anniversary Collector’s Edition,” a box set featuring three CD’s.
Also in 2008, the song “Dream Police” was featured on the hit video game Guitar Hero: Aerosmith. Rock Band 2 also featured the unreleased ’98 re-recorded version of “Hello There” as a playable track and it was also used as the game’s opening sequence.
